Hi, I’m Shanna a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and founder of Serenic Counseling Services, I specialize in helping couples who feel disconnected, stuck in conflict, or on edge of separation. My passion is guiding couples to rebuild trust, improve communication and rediscover the connection they once shared. In addition to my work with couples; I also support adults struggling with anxiety and depression who feel like they’re stuck in survival mode. Together, we work toward clarity, balance and reestablishing confidence. Helping you not only cope but thrive.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I combine evidenced-based strategies with compassion and a deep belief that lasting change is possible. Whether you’re seeking a healthier relationship or a more grounded sense of self. I am here to guide you every step of the way.

What inspires me the most about my work with clients is witnessing first hand true resiliency, transformation and growth.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is simple. I meet you where you are with no judgment. We work collaboratively to help you reach your full potential. I often use strength based approaches in my practice. In your first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With strength-based therapy we explore both the past and present. We will focus on your resiliency, choices and solutions. During our time together I’ll help you challenge your thoughts and responses. I will provide you a different perspective to help you understand and manage your challenges confidently. Think of me as a guide helping you uncover patterns, gain new tools and move from survival mode into a life and relationship where you can truly thrive.

  • Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you explore the root causes of depressive and anxiety symptom, recover motivation, and joy that you once had in your life.
